Hazelwood Lake Conservation Area is located 14 km north on Hazelwood Drive. Follow Dawson Road (Highway 102) past County Fair Plaza to Hazelwood Drive. Turn right on Hazelwood Drive and follow it to the end at Hazelwood Lake Conservation Area. Park in the main parking lot.
You will find the trail directly in line with the entrance to the parking lot. The trail heads down to the beach area. If you keep going straight across the beach area you will find the trail into the forest between the shore and the building nearest the water. The trail makes a loop and returns to the beach grounds.
Very nice hike,it was posted as hour and a half, but i walked through it in about 30 min.
Some signs are turned around(I guess some people have nothing better to do).But even so the trail is pretty easy to follow.
