This beach is located in Batchawana Bay Provincial Park 40 km north-west of Sault Ste Marie, Ontario on Hwy 17. This is a day-use-only park that does not allow overnight camping. Batchawana Bay Provincial Park is only open during the summer months from May long weekend to Labour Day, but it is a great place to visit any time of the year.
Off-season you can park in the space just outside the gate and walk into the park. When the park is open there is a day-use fee to park your vehicle. From the parking area walk to the beach and choose your direction! You can walk up to 9km if you go as far as you can in both directions and back to the starting point.
