Finn Hill Loop

Since moving to the Sault I think the question I get asked the most is: “Have you been on the Hub Trail yet?”. Of course, the answer is yes. But it surprises me when I return the question and ask them if they have, how many local people say they haven’t, or that they don’t even know where it goes!

Round-trip: 4 km

Personally, I don’t think that I would use the Hub Trail to get around town as often as I would use part of it in a loop trail to enjoy a walk or short bike ride. So in each section, I suggest a loop route of about 5 km that could be used for a walk or bike ride.

I’m starting with the Finn Hill section because I like routes that include some hills. The P-Patch is easy to get turned around in, so if you are planning on doing the loop I would suggest you print out the map and take it with you the first time so you can find the route. I do use a few shortcuts and it might be tricky to find your way until you are familiar with it.

Next, try the Fort Creek loop!
